We are a member of both the TPO Sales and TPO Lettings ombudsman schemes. These provide independent advice to clients that have raised complaints with companies but the complainants feel their issue has not be adequately addressed via the internal Complaints Procedure of that company. Since April 2019 Letting Agents have been required by law to be part of a Client Money Protection scheme that protects payment (such as rent and deposit monies) which is received by agents and makes sure landlords and tenants are compensated if an agent cannot repay their money, for example if an agent goes into administration. We are part of a Client Money Protection scheme governed by Money Shield and we have to submit our accounts on an annual basis for assessment and to confirm that we are operating in a professional, compliant way that protects both Tenants and Landlords funds
We are a member of the Anti Money Laundering Register, held by the Government, which ensures that we are aware of processes that can be linked to Money Laundering activities and financial crime in our industry. All of our staff have been trained in Anti Money Laundering awareness and this training is repeated on an annual basis to ensure that we are as up to date as can be on current legislation and awareness.
